The Northern Ireland Social Care Council is set to host a social care managers’ forum later this month.

The forum, taking place online on February 22, will invite social care managers, deputy managers, supervisors and team leaders to hear discussions on transforming leadership and management in social care.

Michael A. West, professor of Organisation Psychology at Lancaster University and senior visiting fellow at the Kings Fund, will be this year’s keynote speaker.

He will be joined by representatives from the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) and the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.

The council will present an update on its role in the reform of the social care workforce and some digital learning resources recently added to its Learning Zone.

RQIA will provide an update on its current projects as well as its work on the Dementia Consultation.
